Funding Your Account

To fund your account on AltLayer:

1. Go to the Faucet application (for our publicly accessible flash layer, you can use this one).

2. Switch your Metamask wallet to AltLayer network.

   tip

   If you haven't done so, you will need to add a new blockchain network in your Metamask wallet by the following:

   1. Open your Metamask wallet, click on the Network dropdown list, and select Add Network at the bottom.

   2. Input the following:

      • Network Name: ALT-DEMOCHAIN
      • RPC URL: https://demochain-rpc.altlayer.io
      • Chain ID: 9997
      • Currency Symbol: ALT
      • Block Explorer URL: https://demochain-blockscout.altlayer.io

   3. Click Save, and you should see the new network visible in the wallet Network dropdown list.

3. Copy your Metamask address and paste it in the Recipient's Address textbox.

4. Leave the rest as their default options.

5. Click Submit Tokens to My Wallet button. Wait for a few seconds and your test tokens should arrive in your wallet.
